Hi, I’m Maddie—and I’m so excited (and honestly, a little emotional) to be sharing this new chapter with you. Starting my own therapy practice has been one of the most meaningful steps of my life. When I got my first client, I cried. Not out of stress or fear, but because this is truly my dream. Psychology has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and now I get to live that passion every day. That’s not something I take for granted.
Outside of sessions, I’m just a regular person who’s endlessly fascinated by the world around me. I love nature—like actually love it. Trees, animals, the sky at dusk—it all feels like quiet magic. And don’t even get me started on pets. I think it’s SO cool that we get to have these tiny little creatures in our lives who don’t speak our language but somehow love us fiercely anyway. My French bulldog, Freya, is my best friend in the entire world, and my favourite part of every single day is having coffee with her by my side.
I’m also an ADHDer, which means I lose my phone at least 20 times a day, I often forget to eat until my body is really mad at me, and sometimes I have so many chores to do that I can’t do any of them. Trust me—I GET IT. Life is messy. Brains are messy. And that’s why I care so much about creating a space where people feel safe being their real, imperfect selves.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me singing loudly in the car, going for long walks, or getting overly excited about a new mental health book or course I’m taking (I bring my Kobo with me EVERYWHERE). I’m constantly learning, growing, and nerding out about therapy so I can show up better for the people who trust me with their care.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is real, approachable, and genuinely loves what they do—I’d be honoured to be part of your journey.
